The Fatimid Empire was comprised of Egypt, most of North Africa, Sicily, Palestine, Syria, the Red Sea coast of Africa, Yemen, and the Hijaz in Arabia, including the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.

the following countries were rule by the Fatimid Empire
Under the Fatimids, Egypt became the center of an empire that included at its peak North Africa, Sicily, Palestine, Syria, the Red Sea coast of Africa, Yemen and the Hejaz. you can go to the world Atlas http://worldatlas.com/aatlas/world.htm and know the area for each of those countries then calculate the accumulation ..it will take you minutes
