My family is hispanic we have no white or black friends whatsover. And many hispanics are this way. Many hispanics work for white people( gardening, cleaning their houses etc) but then when they go back home it's like we have no relation to white people. it's the other way around also, White people live in their own world and associate with white people but not with hispanics.

Sure people who are second generation or 3rd or 4th..they hang out with eachother. But like 1st generationo hispanic americans we're kind of shy and we don't fit in with the others so we just stick in our own little world. And the white people also don't like to associate with us cause we don't really have our parents culture and we also don't fully have American culture either.

That's how i feel. I'm supposedly americcan but i'm not even considered part of the culture, and i don't even feel American that much. i feel weird, as if i'm the Portal for my future son( if i ever have one) to be an American

This is very common for first generation immigrants everywhere. Your parents come from another culture and although you are born in the U.S. your home and family have a different culture so you're not like an average American. The children of immigrants often feel like they don't belong anywhere because they don't fit well into the culture of they country they are born in because their family is different and they also don't fit into the culture of the country their parents are from because they've been raised in another country.

Being in between two different cultures can be rough. I think it doesn't necessarily have to be a major obstacle though, I think you can get something good out of being unique, you just need to think differently about things and not shy away from getting involved in the culture of the country you live in. Just go out there and see what you can do. I'm sure you'll be welcomed into the local crowds despite being different. Segregating yourself will just add to the feeling that you don't belong there.

so your parents were immagrints? so were mine and i have no chose but to assosite with people who are cocasionn and there are few diffrances besides wht makes us induvials . i notice this though in other areas where there is more people and more diveristy . people stick in their own world and don't connect with the people from other places . this is because when immagrents come they want to still ahve some asspects of their cultures so they stay near people from the same place as them and raise their children their . there children may eventulf move away from this and their children will interact with people of diffrent cultures .my parents had moved into an area of people from the same place when they immagrated anad moved to new york but my fathers jobb moved him to a small town were the majority of people are cocasian . i was raised here and i interacted woth other cultures and i feel hardly any connection to my parents culture just the culture of wht is here . not that i think my familys from europe or something but i go with the culture of the people of my genneration . you are part of american cultuure because you moved here i encourage you to try and hang out with people of other cultures because you are still part of one culture american culture and you probly have many more things in common . well i'm not hispanic so maybe its diffrent but i doubt. your just like every other person in this country an imigrant at some leval but morre importantly an human being.

i will say this much. Just because you work for "rich" white people. that does not mean that every one is like that. They are in a class of heir own even with white people. Find someone and make a friend then see how it goes. If you are here legally and not illegally then you have every freedom any other american has.
