Does some one have the right to call you racist, just because your trying to be successful? Like if a black man says, "white people have more of an opportunity". Or if a white man says, " black people are to lazy. They sale drugs as a way out of working." should that make them racist for saying it? Assuming this is true, than the only salution to racism and poverty is to get up and do something about your own problems first. Regardless of what you are.

for those people that say I would't know what its like. I have been there. I was rased up by black people I was locked up for 6 years. And there has been times where I would go months on end without food in the fridge. But I believe in myself and now I am on my way to be somebody. Thats why I ask.

Curt, thank you for clarifying your question. In referencing yourself, it helps to make a more educated opinion in answering. Some of these questions are posed by "hate stirrers," as I call them.

No one has a right to call you racist if you are trying to be successful. I also do not believe that white people have more of an opportunity than any other race in this country. I do believe there are some "road blocks" for different races but that does not mean "all is lost" and people should take a seat and watch life pass them by. I do believe that anyone saying one race is lazy or seclude them for one activity (i.e., selling drugs, etc.) is generalizing and it could indeed sound racist. Racism and poverty are two separate fights and should not be joined in the same objective for a solution. Poverty is something our government will have to lead the fight on by changing our "social" system in how we enable people. Educating those on that system is a start. Racism...that's an individual thought processing based on either experience or stupidity. But I wholeheartedly agree with you that the one thing everyone has to do about their own problems is to GET UP and do something positive about them. Blaming this group or that group never solved anything. Kudos to you for moving up and in the right direction!

To begin with white people sell drugs too and there are a lot of black professionals.

The problem is that you generalize based on race. When one says "Black people are too lazy" that includes all black people. What about all the black marines, are they lazy? They are fighting out there for America. Who do you think started selling drugs in the first place?

Some people are lazy, some people are not. If you are white, you'll never know what a dark skinned person goes through. When you run one mile, they must run two.

I think people who make comments like what you've mentioned, are definitely racist. Either that or they just see one co lour. I agree that we all must work but imagine a situation where you are not even interviewed for a job because your skin is a particular colour or your thought of as lazy because you belong to a particular race?

There are two types of people in the world.
1) There are those who see all as equal
2) There are those who think they are superior
ONLY TWO TYPES OF PEOPLE!!

The word "you" is not really only for you who asked the question.

The solution is to use your intelligence and judge person by their personal attributes and stop using race to negatively determine and prejudge their worthiness of success. As a successful Black woman, I personally don't hear of many Black's complaining about Whites having more opportunity's. It's more of the reverse of White's complaining about how they feel we get a free ride so to speak. As soon as you get beat out by a Black person for a job you desperately wanted, then all the sudden race comes into play, when in reality the person was just way more qualified and/ or educated to do the job than you. This world is not perfect and obviously there's still a lot of racist and stereotypical attitudes towards Black's, but let me tell you this: Go read the real Black American History and you understand how historical Black figures broke down racial barriers and paved the way for our successful future. Black's have worked very hard to rise to the top and have knocked down a lot of doors to opportunities that were closed to us in the past. If you read in between the lines of what you said, it seems more like you personally have a negative racist's attitude that Black's are poor, lazy, complaining people who do nothing sell drugs. Well you're are dead wrong! Yes, you believe this and stereotype a whole race of people in this manner, then you are in fact a idiotic racist. Black's work just as hard, and in fact harder than most, to rise up and become successful in this world and nothing or no one will stop us from continuing to be successful.

Magic is not black or white. The person who uses it can use if for good or for harm. Just like a knife. You can use a knife to peel potatoes (good), or you can use it to hurt someone (bad). Basically, magic is this: Desire something. Visualize it as being true. Believe that it is true - completely believe it. Do everything you can (without reservations or excuses) to make it happen. "If you have as much faith as a grain of mustard seed..." Did you know that ritual magic is used in church? The same format that is used in high magic ritual is used for Holy Communion, Baptism, funerals, etc. Before you disagree, do some research to see how magic is used.

No. IMHO, neither of those statements is true. You can't generalize a whole race of people. Regardless, I don't waste energy on others' ignorance. Some people just don't know better.
