Yes this is normal. Women, unlike most men, need additional things in order to orgasm and some women only need intercorse itself. It is a highly personal issue on what makes you orgasm or not orgasm. For example, maybe he is having his orgasm too soon, he is only using one position, etc.

A recent survey I saw in my men's magazine of surveyed women, stated they orgasm most when they receive both oral and manual stimulation with intercorse rather than just intercorse alone. In addition they only received oral stimulation and intercorse, it goes down (but not as much as just intercorse alone).

So basically, without knowing more, he is probablly doing more for himself in the sexual side of your relationship (focusing more on himself) than you. As the women, you should 'come' first...although selfish men don't care if you do or not.

If the both of you are interested, there are books at the local bookstore (or library) that shows the different positions, gives tips, etc. It may be a good place to start.

You can also try better ribbed condoms, rings (also vibrating ones), etc. Different thrusting rates, etc. Sometimes men make it exactly the same (get in and get out mentality). There is much that can be done from different movements, unexpected thrusting styles, etc. He can get creative and doing unexpected things like that can make you aroused and help you with this issue.

Many men don't like to 'give' oral and when they do, it's pretty quick (yet they want you to do the same to them but longer and better right?). You are an active participant in this relationship and sex is part of it. If one side is being selfish, then that's not good for you. Trust me, he doesn't have to have an orgasim before you...he can WAIT

Everyone can orgasm, but not everyone does. Some women need direct clitoral stimulation during sex in order to have an orgasm, others don't.

When it comes to orgasm, women work harder. It's amazing to me how much brain work it takes for a woman to have an orgasm.

Have you tried direct clitoral stimulation? This may or may not work but it's worth a try.

You may also have an orgasm disorder/problem. I can't diagnose with doing further testing.

Statistically, women just don't orgasm during sex most of the time. Okay, that's not all that scientific, but I've definitely heard that from many reliable sources.

Position, however, is the primary roleplayer in female orgasm. Keep trying multiple positions - I find it works very well when I ride my boyfriend and he sits up and fondles my breasts. Also, in addition to orgasming during sex, there are many other ways that your man can help bring you to orgasm.

:D Good luck!

I think I heard something like 1 out of 7 women are able to climax by penetration only. I, personally, am not one of the lucky ones! There are lots of things you can do during sex to climax- you just have to experiment, and figure out what works best for you. Keep up with BC, and using protection. Dont' get frustrated, try and have fun with it.

Good job on being safe. He obviously does not know how to use his tongue and fingers. Foreplay is the way to get you excited. Relax and enjoy yourself. Have him lick and gently rub your clitoris. He has to stimulate you so you can enjoy the ride better.
