It depends on the reasons and your level of maturity. Your family may see things in the person you aren't able to see. Older family members will have life experiences you haven't had yet. Listen to their objections with an open mind and see if they might have some validity. If so, you should at least consider how important those issues would be to you over a lifetime if you were to marry that person and have children together. Then make up your own mind.

There is nothing wrong in loving someone you love. Should your family be unwilling to accept him/her that is something that would have to be worked out with the two of you. Should you end up getting married, you must be considerate, not be demanding that he/she go where family does not accept him/her. You must stand together on your relationship. Family can contact you
and until the other is accepted, stand your ground. You don't marry the family when you get married. You marry the man/woman you are in love with. Sometimes family comes around then there are those who never do.

Gosh - how would you STOP loving them? Just turn it off? Love doesn't work that way. I'm guessing that you mean "Is it right to say INVOLVED with someone....

So - I guess it depends WHY they are not accepted. If your family doesn't like them because they are doing something illegal or immoral - then - no - it's not right to be involved with this person.

If you family just doesn't like this person for some silly reason - like they wear white shoes after labor day - or something lame like that - well then - tell your family that they have no say in your love life.

But know this - if you choose a life with your partner - and your family doesn't like that person - it will be something you will have to deal with until that person is no longer in your life.

Yes. I think that if you keep loving that person, your family will see it and then maybe they will learn to accept that person too. It is not about your family accepting that person, it is about you loving that person no matter what.

I would think it would depend on how much it bothers you that he or she is not accepted. It could also be a sign that either you need to listen to your family and get rid of the person!

You cannot turn love on and off. You should love that person NO MATTER WHAT your family says. It's you who will be spending your life with that person, NOT your family.

Absolutely. You love who you love. If the family doesn't accept the person then they are not a very loving family. Anyway, it's your relationship, not theirs, and has nothing to do with them.

Your family is important but they don't have the right to run your life.No one should have the right to tell you who and who not to be with.If your family can't accept your decision thats tough that's life. You can't help who you fall in love with.Go with your feelings and don't let anyone tell you anything different....good luck.....
