I would like to buy a new ipod (my old one is a 4gb mini) I'm not sure if I should buy the 30gb ipod video or just the new 4gb nano. Can any one who has an ipod video tell me how they like theirs so far?

I got an ipod video last march. I've never had any problems with it. I found websites to download movies, tv sitcoms, music videos etc all for free. The only problem I ever had was once the screen froze while charging and I simply looked at the online help, pressed two buttons at the same time, and the problem was fixed. They are very good quality. If you get one be sure to get some type of carrying case/cover for it. They scratch up very easily. Yoi can find cheap skins on ebay that work great.

Love my 30gb video ipod, it's definitely worth the $. I consider myself a pretty big music lover and there's more than enough space, but that's a good thing because new music is constantly arising! For a better value go for the 30 gig.

Personally, I would stay with your Mini. It has worked really well for me and is sturdy and well-built. If you really want to upgrade, get the iPod video. I've never liked the Nanos because I've always felt like I would snap it in two if I was too rough with it.

I recently purchased the 30g and it has worked great but I am wishing that I had purchased the Creative Zen instead. With Ipod you can only purchase songs on Itunes at .99 cents each but with the Zen you could subscribe to Yahoo! music or AOL music and get unlimited downloads for a small monthly price! Much better than spending 20 grand to fill the Ipod. Hope this helps! :)

Bought my son the 80 gb for Christmas, spent $350 on that, plus a case and charger, I sure hope it's worth it. The "Geeks" at Best Buy say it's great!

Watch videos on tv. Go for the nano; they come in prettier colors.

i recently got a black iPod Video, It's FANTASTIC! I love how you can watch Movies, play games, and watch T.V. episodes. It's great for the road or when your bored!
