She may think that you are not telling the truth about your sex life. Many will now test for STDs yearly, especially cause you can get STDs even when you are not having vaginal intercourse.

my friend broke her hymen while horse back ridding. And I broke mine when I was like 12 while doing exercises on the even bar for gymnasticks and fell you know...in between. hahaha funny but not really!!! =(
I mean you can't get your hymen back. HAHAHHA definetly not!
Ive know people out there who've had sex numerous times with their partner and have never had their hymer broken.
Having a broken hymen doesnt mean anything. there are many ways you can break it.Having a broken hymen doesnt prove that you have an STD or had sex. The gynecologist will not assume that you have an STD as long as you are honest with her and let her know that it broke, that you have never had sex before. The test will let you know. she can't just look at your coochie sniff down there and say: "Yep, you got an STD!" hahahaha. im just messing. She will still have to see you anyways.regarless. For your own good! It's good to know sometimes. to check for other things. Well good luck at the gynecologist!! =]

Gynaecologist are up to date, on Sexually Transmitted Decease. I your hymen is broken, the doctor would definite do a blood check for any kind of decease. It is best to tell the doctor you situation of never having had sex. This helps them do a more specific diagnosis in your case. Now a days medicine is more sophisticated and modern.

a broken hymen is no sign of an STD... some females are even born without a hymen, some breaks theirs in accidents (like a bicycle wreck!), or you could also just stretch your hymen during intercourse and it may not break at all.....

No a gyno will know what to look for when doing an exam. If you have never had sex you will not have an std. STD stands for sexually transmitted disease; therefore you would have had to have sex.

Why do u give soo much importance for what others think, do u think they remember it always, NO. Dont worry. Now people who are answering this question also telling what they think includeing me =) . see it does not matter what doctor or others think but IT DOES matter what u think. Use ur own discretion, intelligence and try to come to conclution. Many times no matter what doctor thinks we need to see them and get our health problem solved which is very important right !!!

of course not... if your hymen is still intact, they don't really go on with the procedure. going to the gynecologist is normal, you're supposed to visit the gyno regularly.

They wouldn't think that you might have STD, they might think you are not a virgin.
