Free phones are a "you get what you pay for" kind of thing; inside the industry they have a "good, better, best" attitude, however with the buy one get one free or BO-GO you can get a much better phone. The T-Mobile favorites plan leave out T-Mobile unlimited calling you only get unlimited calling to the 5 numbers you pick, and for the price you get fewer minutes so the questions you have to answer are
1. What do you want your phone to do besides make and receive calls?
2. How many T-Mobile customers are you calling?
3. How many regular anytime minutes do you need per line?

If your favortite 5 people are on other networks (other than T-mobile), then if myFaves is the perfect choice!

Otherwise a normal family plan is ok, since T-Mobile to T-Mobile minutes are FREE.

Go for Samsung T629 slider phone, but cost $50 thru T-Mobile. But if go thru Amazon, you make $75 per phone.

Good luck!!!
I have been with T-Mobile for 5 years, and I love them.
And please do remember to 'unlock' every phone after 90 days* so that you can use them in other GSM networks (such as Cingular in the U.S., Virgin, O2, Vodafone in the U.K. and almost any where in the world)
