Next time it comes on, should I quickly change the station? Or just roll my windows all the way up and avoid any eye contact with neighboring motorists?

Yes tdlc, and I know that there is no such thing as answerers with a sense of humor, but in this case, you seem to be one of the few who failed to see humor in this. What a cold miserable existence some of you lead. Merry Christmas, even to the eternal Bah-humbugs.

Wow Tbone, you called me "lilly white" then made a Pleasantville and an Oz reference, and wrapped it all up by being articulate. Someone might be getting ten points under the tree this year...

Keep a backup CD of Kevin Federline on hand for a quick switchover and you roll in your 88 Toyota Celica.

I wouldn't discriminate against a person of ethnic minority listening to Stomping Tom... And I hope no one would be like that when I play rap, or one of the many other types of music that other cultures contributed to.
One time I had to take a cab, and grab some money before reaching the destination. I hopped out, and when I got back in... The cabby was blasting some music from his culture. He quickly turned it down, changed it to another station, and started to apologize. I told him "Don't worry about it". I enjoyed the music, and encouraged him to put it back on.
My point is... If you like the music, who cares what others think.
CyberNara
TBONE... Crude, but funny, because that is what I am talking about... Don't be ashamed of what you like, and don't put restrictions on what you should enjoy... If you are white as a ghost, and you like hip hop... Where is the problem other then a few narrow minded people?

Listening to R&B or Hip Hop does not make you any less of your ethnicity. Actually, if you were bumping it with loud speakers, then you might want to start to worry.. jk Seriously though, listen to what you chose to listen to. I love John Mayer and does that make me less Black.. I dont think so!

If you are embarrassed about listening to rap music because you are white, maybe you should just listen to classical music and see if it will restore your lilly whiteness. You may even want to click your heels like Dorothy so that you can make it back to Pleasantville before Christmas.
