Well, the reason behind the comedies is probably because we need to laugh at something. There is a war going on and it's not just in Iraq. We are at war with family, friends and ourselves.

I don't really see many dog comedies, but cute animals are a draw for commercials because it entices people to pay attention.

Because:
They do not offend anyone.
They do not sit in their trailers until their lattes are ready.
They work for scale.
They are easily replaced.
You can have 5 or 6 identical dogs on standby.
There are no cat groups who will protest your production because it is not diverse enough.
They don't miss calls a la Lohan.
But, mostly, the first one.

coz people like laughing. it makes them feel good so the funnier, the better chances of an audience etc. and dogs are so cute so with dogs, it's a way to catch people's attention so they'll hav to watch it

Because dogs are cute and cuddly and that makes people feel good along with laughing don't you like laughing.
