I don't think it is depression, I think you are putting too much pressure on yourself-nobody is perfect.

It sounds like you are trying to make sure you don't ever mess up, you need to live life and enjoy it, and as choices come up, decide the best course of action and the possible consequences. If you keep up this obsessive behavior you may end up becoming an agoraphobic and never want to leave the house again. Just don't put so much pressure on yourself, everyone makes mistakes, and most you can learn from with not much harm to anyone or anything, just don't mess around with the big ones.(arson, murder etc)

Hope this helps :-)

A couple of things here,
1. Don't worry so much, stress can cause depression.
2. You're young, people do dumb things when they're young. You can't escape it. Everyone does something stupid once in a while, the only thing you can do is take it all in stride and move on with your life.
3. You cannot 'control' your mind, but you can help it become better by talking to people, don't sit here reading my comments, call someone up. It's late at night, I know, but there are people in this world who will listen. Try a local church leader, if one turns you away, try another, there are millions of churches in the world who will listen whether you are religious or not. If you truly have depression, you NEED to get help. I cannot place enough importance on this. I've been battling depression most of my life and it is not something that you can fight on your own. You're not in this life all by yourself. There are other people out there.
4. Sleep on it. It's really late, promise yourself not to think about anything until morning. Sleeping on it won't make it go away, but it will allow you to think about it more clearly tomorrow. Anything done with emotion is usually done wrong.
5. Probably the thing you should do the most though, is take a second. Sit on your bed or some comfortable place. Ask yourself, "Do I need help?" If the answer is yes, go find help, be it a religious leader, a friend, relative, a doctor if need be.
6. Always have hope. Hope in anything. If you have nothing to hope for, hope that there will be a tomorrow, and a tomorrow after that. So that way if one day isn't looking good, maybe the day after will.
7. This is a little defeatist, but maybe not. Look at it this way, if you mess up, surly you can fix it in the 80 years of life you have left. A hell of a lot can change in 80 years.

I'm sorry if this advice seems a little edgy or offensive, it's not meant to be... I guess I'm just a bit of a jerk... but anyway, I wish you good luck with your life and good things in all that you do.

I know that mistakes (wrong decisions) in life cause lot of problems in the future. But it is also true that we are humans &bound to do mistakes .We also have to learn from our mistakes .So don't worry each & every person does somewhat same things in the same age life in 16's all have fallen in infauation or love but never know that the person is good or bad . our thinking level is the same.
in ur 30 u will always be like ur mother as is is now
so don't worry try to avoid mistakes but if u fall in them try to struggle come out of it.

It is very hard to ruin your whole life. It is okay to make mistakes. Everyone does. Please try not to be too hard on yourself. If you are finding it very hard to deal with your thoughts, try to talk to a supportive family member or friend. If you don't feel like that's enough, try talking to your favorite teacher or a guidance counselor. You don't have to be perfect. None of us are, I promise you. I wish you happiness.

I don't think you have depression, but a good chat with a psychologist may put your mind at ease, or may help you identify where your brain is getting these ideas.
