Yes, and it was great. Not that we did anything but just the thought of going to work is overwhelming already. It feels that office environment is more meaningful all of a sudden. You feel so happy and contented throughout the day cause that fellow is around. Well.... it didn't really have to turn bad so long as you do not put so much pressure on him. Just enjoy the company and take it easy.

Uh...I call this phenomenon the "workplace sustainability crush". I always seem to crush on - or click with -some guy at work, which can make work more fun and bearable. Nothing real major. No until recently anyway, but now I don't want the workplace to become uncomfortable if I say anything or ask him to a movie. Some guys are more outgoing and it wouldn't be a big deal, but when the crush-in-point is shy and introverted and possibly sending mixed signals or just very subtle ones, well...then i guess that just lands me in the same position that would lead you to ask us here. I guess it all comes down to guts. I like my crush so much, that I am so frozen with fear of all the scenarios that you can imagine, so I will probably never know if I don't try something. I guess, when my opportunity is at is best , I'll just ask him to a movie sometime, and if he says no, I'll just respect that and not press the issue. The thing is to be apologetic if you make him/her uncomfortable. Just say that you're sorry you put him/her in a position that made the uncomfortable and you won't bother him/her again, and try not to cry at the same time. He could say yes. You're pretty much guaranteed to be miserable at work anyway, but if he says yes, you could at least have some happiness outside of work. Sorry so long, buy thats a good question. How the hell else are we supposed to meet and get to know people over time, the internet? HAH!

Broke up with my ex-girlfriend and have been seeing her for over 5 years. It actually worked out pretty damned well.

she got married and we are still working out the creases. A good friendship is hard to maintain with the crush syndrome. but is possible.

Yep, she sued me for sexual harassment. I didn't know it was so wrong to give a woman roses.

Don't date coworkers!
