What should i do now, report to police or compliant to insurance company, please kindly advise. thank you

You should report to the Police then inform the insurance company, as this is a criminal case. Since your policy already surrender, probably, you can still reinstate it base on the criminal nature, but Insurance company may let you reinstate base on the current market value.

both,you wont be able to use the slander angle,not unless you can prove they were out to get you with malicious intent.You can however chase them down for identity theft(police),fraudulent activities(Insurance) and you can try deflamation of character(slander) but that one will be hard to stick.the other two Identity will be hard to apply but maybe you have a chance,they dont seem to really try to chase it down.the fraud with the insurance well they'll go after him if you testify in person or with a signed notorized note,but the insurance company will get any power for that kind of action,you might just get any damages back and the record of whatever it was expunged
