RE:
Do all Honda EX models have Vtec?
I know the difference between the different models and I know that at least some EX have Vtec, but I was wondering if all models came with it. If not, which EX years/models come with Vtec?

All Honda EX models had VTEC after 1993. VTEC was first introduced in the states on the 1993 Honda Prelude. The Prelude has been Honda's test car since it's birth in 79'.
The first DOHC was introduced in 88' on the prelude
4WS was also introduced in 88'
FRM sleeves were used in 90 on the B21a1 prelude engine
VTEC in 93
ATTS on the SH prelude in 97'.
It then became the platform for the S2000

Yes: BUT You'll have to change out the wiring harness, the pcm, you'll have to fab some mounts, and you'll have to put take the 90 trans with it. It's likely at that point you'll have to change out the hub because the CV axles won't fit right. They might even be too short so you may have to ghetto rig it. It will take so long and it will be so aggravating you'll want to dive off a cliff. It's not worth it. Go to the salvage yard and buy a motor for the 92-95. You can get one for 500 or less. Just make sure you put a timing belt on it. Don't try this unless you are an experienced mechanic. You can destroy the engine if you mess up. A good mechanic can rip out the old motor, switch the parts over to the longblock, seal/slap on some gaskets, and install it in a day. Good Luck!
