LMAO... well this is kind of a silly story. I worked in a Chinese Restaurant. I went out and found the job on my 16th birthday. I loved it there and I loved teaching the people to speak English. (Most times they would point and grunt... lol.) Anyhow, about 6 months into the job a woman came in and looked at me with her head ****** to the side. She said to me, "Wow, you speak English so well, how long have you been in this country?" (The picture posted here really is me... ) What a moron, I still don't see that I look anything like a Chinese person. Look at me, all pale white, blonde hair and green eyes... I looked back at her and said, "Um, all my life..." Man, you should have seen her stew on that one.

I was 11, summer after the fifth grade, and a neighbor lady came over crying because her sitter quit. So all summer I watched Baby Alan. He had liquid seizure medication that you had to give him every two hours and I had to learn what to do in case he had a seizure anyway. I lost a lot of goofing off time that summer, but I gained a lot of insight and maturity. My next job was at a shoe store at the mall.

I worked at a movie theater when I was 14. I worked concessions for about $2.50 an hour and I cleaned the entire theater for 5 bucks. It took me about 4 hours!! It was a lot of money to me though since I was too young to have a "real" job.

Children's birthday party entertainer.
I dressed up as a clown or a fairy and did face painting and ballon tricks, everything.
I hated it, I was in my last years of high school at the time. I'd probably really enjoy it now that I can stand the squeals of children.

Clerk in a local hardware store. One of the best learning experiences I ever had. Especially when I had to tell the owner that I wouldn't stay late and give him massages!!!!! Really.
