I am at my job today and my boss was sitting in his office at his desk looking at me. Even a few minutes I got up to go back to my desk and he just would not stop looking at me. This is something new with him. I have been at my new job for 7 months I have never seen him do this. His face was almost like a blank stair when he looked at me and he was really nice to me. He is married by the way and has children and I am a very productive person and very proffesional. So, what was the staring all about? AND I WAS WEARING SCRUBS SO I AM COVERD UP.

Sometimes we men just switch off and stare into space or, at whatever happens to be close at hand. Trust me, men seek solace with our own thoughts, and on occasions we just go onto auto-pilot (just ask a married woman about Men's 'silences').
Don't get me wrong IF he really is giving You a good looking over then don't hesitate to pull Him up over His behavior. Do it Yourself, don't involve others because You could be wrong and it would not do to make a scene.
Good luck, and have a Merry Christmas!

Get over yourself. More than likely, and I'm a man so I know, he is trying to figure out how much beer is in the fridge at home and the blank "stair" is actually a blank stare and you just happen to be passing through it.

Either that or he is trying to figure out a way to get you naked in the Xerox room. You never can tell, really...

First, tell someone else, or more than one, you trust who is NOT under his authority about this. Then tell him that his staring at you makes you uncomfortable. Hopefully, that will wake him up and adjust his behavior, because for a person in authority over you to carry on that way is sexual harrassment.

If that doesn't change things, or if it gets worse or you experience retribution, you need to bring in that trustworthy person you confided in and file a sexual harassment complaint.

Men engage their imagination in many ways. Perhaps you remind him of his wife years ago. Or perhaps hes wondering what life would be like single. We generally do this but not being disrespectful.

They get distracted by pretty shiny things and cannot help themselves. As long as he doesn't drool, just try to ignore it.
