We'll probably doom ourselves off before that planet killing asteroid hits us, before the consequences of global warming are in full swing, before the super volcanoes erupts and surely before our sun supernovas.

The detonation of tens of thousands of nuclear weapons that now sit quietly, inconspicuously, in missile silos, submarines and long-range bombers, faithful servants awaiting orders would bring the end of the human species.

The World Health Organization concludes that 1.1 billion people would be killed outright in such a nuclear war, mainly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. An additional 1.1 billion people would suffer serious injurles and radiation sickness. This would represent by far the greatest disaster in the history of the human species and, with no other adverse effects, would probably be enough to reduce at least the Northern Hemisphere to a state of prolonged agony and barbarism.

The nuclear winter that Carl Sagan spoke about would eventually spread to the Southern Hemisphere, killing all plant and animal life, and eventually mankind.

Are nukes good, the MAD doctrine kept us out of a nuclear war for 60 years, but now with rogue states and rogue leaders, the fallacy of the MAD doctrine is apparent. The weapons of peace for the last 60 years have now been turned to weapons of war. Once again we are staring into the black abyss of a nuclear holocaust.

The sun is a star and each star has a life cycle that eventually ends with the star going supernova or becoming a white dwarf star. Our sun is of medium to small size so that means it will become a white dwarf.

Before it becomes a white dwarf, it will become extremely large in the red giant stage.

Once our sun expands that large, the earth will be burnt to a cinder.

Now for the good news: Our sun still has billions of years of life left in it. :)

in religious terms, it'll be remade into something better. but scientifically, we are slowly destroying ourselves through global warming, war etc. scientists did reveal however that an astroid some hundred light years away that is far bigger than the Earth is on a collision course with Earth and will meet us in a very very long time. the good news is that they said with our technology, there are ways to destroy any dangerous object headed for us so no worries there. anyway, God alone knows the true answer to that question. and yeah, there is that thing with the sun soon blowing up and destroying our solar system in a hundred million years or so

Of course it will be.

Mankind is well on its way of destroying Earth. Don't worry though...by the time the Earth is fully destroyed we should all be long gone

The Earth will be destroyed if we don't take care of it.

Yes. Everything follows a cycle, including the Universe. The end is just a beginning and a beginning is the end of what was before.

Only Law of Conservation has an answer. Matter can not be created and nor can it be destroyed but can be changed from one form to another(Law of Conservation of Mass). Energy can not be created and energy can not be destroyed but energy can be changed from one form to another(Law of Conservation of Energy). Wealth can not be created and wealth can not be destroyed but wealth can be changed from one form to another(Law of Conservation of Wealth : Remember Double Entry Bookkeeping where neither credit nor debit be created without corresponding converse entry and Assets must equal liabilities). Soul can not be created and soul can not be destroyed but soul changes bodies the way we change our clothes( Law of Conservation of Soul: Source: Srimad Bhagavadgita as told by Lord Krisdhna). Matter, energy, wealth and soul are the four forms the God manifests himself. The God can not be created and the God can not be destroyed. Can we call it Law of Conservation of the God? Earth has no end and soul also has no end. Do not bother for silly things.
