Absolutely not. Her first priority should be her education and furthering herself in life.

Saving a few bucks or your daughters future...oh the choices. Is it okay for the adult to step up to the plate and take care of both children as he should and send the daughter to school and the son to daycare?? Note the heavy sarcasm.

Never is ok to make your child drop out of school. That daughter's future should be your priority, more so than you saving a few $$$ on daycare. That daughter would grow up to resent that child also. You are not being fair at all. It isn't even debate-able.

absolutely not ok!! the child is the father's responsibility, as is the older child. just because she is a teen does not mean she is not a child anymore. do what you have to; there are programs out there to offset the cost, and yes it is a pain in the arss to get the little guy up and off to the sitters, but billions do it (including me, 3yr old twins are fun to get going *sarcasm*) but you laid the seed, now reep, baby!!
however, it IS ok to ask the teen for some help getting the little guys and his stuff ready with you! just remember that most of the burden is yours to bear, not hers.

No, it's not okay! His oldest is his responsibility, too, and needs an education to survive. He'd be a rotten dad to make her drop out. How is the 3 year old her responsibility if she's not his parent?

No, a father should jepordize his teenage daughters education adn life because he's too lazy to get a job that (a) either pays enough to get child care or (b) has hours different that her school hours

It is not her child, and she should not have to drop out of school to take care of his responsibility. It is her right as his child to be guaranteed an education by her father.

But hell no!!! She should not have to take on your responsibility. It is YOUR job to take care of your son. Do you really want to ruin your daughters life just because you don't want to pay? Do you not care about her? Do you want to see her working at McDonald's for the rest of her life, that is IF they hire dropouts!

No, No, No, No it most definitely is not. You are allowed an education as well as anyone else. Forget him. Sometimes our parents are not all responsible. Get your education. Worry about him later.
