Does anyone else think the England players are getting off a bit lightly for their performances? Fletcher has been obviously making mistakes but seems to be wearing all the criticism.

They all shared the praise when we won the Ashes 15 months ago, so they should share the blame now they have been lost.

Fletcher has done much to improve English Test cricket in the last few years, he should not be entirely blamed. Many of the players underperformed for various reasons...Harmison bowled in the first two tests like a frightened child. Plus, injuries hit us very badly..it was quickly obvious that we badly missed Simon Jones., who may never play again.

Absolutely not...the players are to be blamed
A coach can only teach players things, but at this level ll he can do if fine tune them
Ultimately its the players who need to go out there and perform..
The england team is not doing that now!!!
no poin t inblaming the coach

it is really the players fault even though Duncan decided that the better players should not play and therefore chose the team

i dont think that Freddie has a say in the team picking

so its basically Duncans fault as well as the players that cant peform well enough

It is not at all fair to single out a single person to blame for the poor performance of the team and all players should be equally be blamed.

No. The problem is the England Psyche. English people are always critical that's why they are called whinging Poms.

They players are afraid to lose. You can see fear in their eyes. They know they will be crucified if the lose.

Fear weakens their resolve and and they make mistakes and lose.

Try praising them when they are having difficulties.

This might give them enough encouragement to win.
