Yes, there's something you can do to stop these pre-sleep nightmares.
Our minds are like computers... garbage in, garbage out. If you're watching horror movies, violent videogames, and tv programs with scary things in them several hours before sleeping, those are the images which imprint in your mind. As you relax in your bed, they return and frighten you again, even though your conscious mind tells you they're not real.

Limit or eliminate your exposure to scary visual images in the afternoon and evening. Stop watching tv, movies or video games for a while. Instead, read something with real things, like a science or sports magazine or books about travel, history or animals (non-fiction). The idea is to put down new threads in your mind to follow as you relax and get ready to sleep.

I ahve that sometimes about once a few months and I am 32 I usually go to the living room and fall asleep in front of TV. The problem with you is u can't do that every night it is unhealthy.

Get books on tape, that is what I used to do when I was younger, find a story you can get into (it takes a few just to finger out what style you like) just go to the library to get an audiobook and you'll fall asleep with your mind distracted by the story instead of thinking about monsters.

Or try reading a book and falling asleep by it.

Oh get a night light.

Your pretty safe. Ghosts only bother you until they run out of sheets to wear over their heads. All of the aliens are down at Wal-Mart and McDonald's applying for jobs and are too busy to be concerned with you, and once I show you a picture of my ex wife all of those demons you think of will look like cute little puppies.

I too had this happen to me when I was about your age. I started setting a routine to reassure myself and become calm and rest full before I went to bed. Checking doors and windows to make sure they were locked, prepare and eat a snack and have something warm to drink such as warm milk which has the effect of making one sleepy, brush my teeth and put on some calm music and think of something good you have experienced such as a vacation you enjoyed or some sport or hobby you enjoy. also helps to have every thing ready for morning ahead so you don't have to rush in the morning, clothes school stuff ect. Hope this helps.

Well I used to have the same thing. I just reminded myself that the chances of aliens coming to Earth of all planets to invade overnight is slim to none. If you believe in God, pray to him to help rid of demons. Ghosts exist only if you let them
