My brother came up to me earlier, saying that he was told by his friend that white people are born with this problem that prevents them from catching onto the beats in music, therefore making them naturally bad at dancing. His friend said it was statistically proven and he found sources for it.
I'm not saying I agree with my brother's friend entirely, but I just want to find out from people if they heard of such problem?

not true. whites can dance, just to the tune of their own beat..i kid, i kid.
it's silly to associate ability on account of race.

Well lets just say African Americans or 99% of Black people have soul rhythm and can catch a beat with little or no effort, but that's not to say all white people cant dance it just may take more effort and for some dancing to comes natural look at Shakira she is awesome even though she is from Columbia!

LOL! Yep! I am one white boy who has this problem! My wife is also white but she is a great dancer! She has not been able to teach me to dance and it is very frustrating for her since she loves to dance! My best friend in school was a black kid, Anthony. He could not dance either! He was really bright in school and is a doctor now. Are you sure it is a race thing? Maybe white guys do have problems learning to dance but this is the first time I ever heard this! Anyway, I would be curious to find out too!

which form of dance are you tremendously concerning? which form of music? there are various differences on your question. A waltz isn't intense on the beat checklist, heck most of the time it has no beat. yet most of the human beings stereotypically speaking that dance the waltz are white. human beings-dance, white usually Hip-hop, intermixed Salsa, Tango, usually Hispanic White human beings are stable on the dances they like. yet as a procedures because of the fact the dances they do unlike, they do no longer even attempt to income them. comparable is going for all different races and cultures.

It is just something stupid that somebody thought up there are actually a lot of white dancers most of them do ballroom dancing. Is it true that white men can't jump? But look at all the white basketball players and all the white Olympic runners who jump hurdles and high jumps, and all the gymnasts.

This is just another stupid racial comment.
Of course my son describes his dancing as 'a beached whale having a convulsion' but he takes after his father.
And has anyone ever noticed Bill Crosby 'dancing' in the beginning of his show...it is obvious -- he can't
