ok so i cant date cant go more than about 4-5 houses down the street cant stay @ my friends houses(cuz their not in my religon) & i cant go anywhere wif my friends...y r my parents so strick? itz not fair1 & IM 13 ALMOST 14!!! CAN U BELIEVE THAT...IT SUX! A LOT.....wat can i do 2 ease my parents into letting me do stuffz?

don't be mad. your parents are only trying to protect you. however, sometimes parents tend to go over the line of protection... As a teen you're searching(and protesting) for independence. I'm also 13 and my parents aren't that strict... maybe you should try improving your grades... believe me its your best weapon against them... also try to have a sincere conversation with them so you may discuss your woe... lastly, try to show them just how responsible and trustworthy you are!! It may seem like you're old enough to do more stuff but you're still too young. They are a little too strict thought. They are just looking out for you, Right now it may not seem like it but when you're older you'll realize it was for the best. I was kind of in your situation when i was younger now that i look back I thank my parents for being strict. I see how some girls who's parents let them anything turned (pregnant with 2 kids at 22) etc and i am so thankful to my parents.
You definitely have to sit down and talk to your parents tell them they can trust you and all you want is to spend time with your friends.

Perhaps you should discuss this with your parents. They are probably just being strict about your personal freedoms because they are afraid of what awaits you in the world. If you could show your parents that you are a responsible young adult, they may loosen their restrictions. Trust me, a parent would rather have a discussion with you about it than having a teenager that is rebelling and they can't control.

just try to show your parents some appreciation for there concern about your well being........build up their trust by not rebeling and kissing their butts.........later suggest that they meet your friends parents so that then maybe they would be more apt to let you go to their house
