You can be popular within your own crowd. Just find friends who are similar to yourself....who have the same morals, values, sense of humor, hobbies, fun factors, etc. as you do.

Nothing wrong with being a "geek"....variety makes the world go 'round

What is the definition of popular to you? Others liking you, accepting you for who you are? When someone is comfortable with and likes themselves, others accept and like them also! People will respect who you are (no matter if who you are is a geek), when you respect you! Sometimes people do not learn this until adulthood. Grace, life changes constantly, people and social groups will change with every stage of life, be patient and just enjoy being you!!!

i was a huge loser in high school, and i got to college and the crowd changed- its not worth changing yourself to be like the people around you. people fall into place with eachother and thats what makes friendships worth it.
im still the same person, but i have a huge crowd of friends now- its all about who youre surrounding yourself with.

i was a geek in 7th grade.. then i became friends w/ popular
girls.. not because i wanted to be popular,, but because we
had alot in common.. i was the only girl at my lunch table
who didnt cheer. but honestly imm not trying to be snobby
but being popular isnt all that funn .. rumors get started very
easy about you,, and people are always callin me "blonde"
