One gigabyte is equal to 1,024 megabytes
So that 250 gb = 250 x 1024 mb = 256000 mb

Average MP3 songs consumes about 4mb of space.

So that your 250 gb hard disk will contain approximately
2,56,000 / 4 = 64,000 mp3 songs.

CD quality MP3 costs about 1 MB per minute of audio. Therefore, in 250 GB of space, you can store 250 x 1024 = 25600 minutes of audio. Let's say each song is about 4 and a half minutes in length, therefore, you can store 56,889 songs in that drive.

1 MP3 song will take an average of 5MB. So 1GB can hold around 200 songs. So 250GB can hold around
200 * 250 = 50000 songs.

If that's a computer, then you particularly won't be able to pass between inner drives as laptops in basic terms carry one inner tension. the terrific way is precisely what you have already accomplished: "...a 320 gb exterior to apply to hold the documents..." in basic terms shop the documents on the exterior tension and reproduction what you opt on from that onto the computer.

It depends on what KBPS you rip them at (kilobits per second).

You can average 1MB per minute at 128kbs.
You can average 2MB per minute at 256kbs
You can average 3MB per minute at 320kbs. Approx.

So figure your average song is 4-5 minutes,
One song sould be 5mb at 128
One song would be 10mb at 256
One song would be 15mb at 320. (maybe a little less)

You can do the math from there, depending on what quality you'll be ripping your music at.

Quick answer: A LOT of freakin' music, buddy.
