Ladies, how did your husband propose to you ? Guys, how did you propose to your wife ? Would you have done if any differently given another chance ?

he had asked me 3 times if i would marry him and 3 times i had said no. i was pregnant and did not want to get married just because he felt he had to marry me. then one day he came home and told me (no more asking!) that we were getting married that coming weekend. i said ok. we had sorta planned on renewing our vows on our 5th anniversary and when we didn't i went out the next day and had my wedding ring sized for my right hand, and i wore it there for the next 5 years -- until we finally did renew the vows on our 10th anniversary. the only thing we would have done differently would be to have had more anniversaries -- we only had 13 of them before he passed away. but we enjoyed them all!!

We met each other in high school so he took me back to all of the "first" spots. Like the first place we met, the first place we went out together, the first place we kissed, etc and then he got down on one knee and proposed at a school that we had spent a special moment together.

My husband proposed to me on the back of a trolley where you stand, he got down on one knee and said will you love me forever and then put the ring on my finger .I don't recall ever saying yes but I guess somewhere I did we have been married 18 years and have 4 children.Good Luck and Happy Holidays~

I planned on it for weeks. I tried to think of the best most romantic way possible. She was to meet me at "our" hotel. I had given her the room number. I laid out rose pedals all the way from the elevator to our room. Once she opened it I had a radio playing "our" song and I was dressed up in a suit and on one knee with the ring box open.

I must be the most boring person on here! We discussed it for a while and decided that it was time to get engaged and tell the parents. It was a very mutual thing. Even though it wasn't the most romantic scenario, we both floated on cloud nine for weeks. I wouldn't do it differently. It worked for us.

Last march my girl went to the carribean with some of her family and with the help of her family i was able to buy a ticket leaving one day later than them.Later that night i met up with them at some fancy restraunt and proposed. she said no!

He was a dead Yankee at a Civil War reenactment. He had just been dragged through a ditch at my request. Also, I had just threatenened him with the Confederate commander's sword. It was very romantic. (I'm not kidding. It was awesome.)

My answer was:
Not right now but when I am ready I will answer you.
(Should have known that his selfishness would last throughout our marriage.

we met onlie and became good frnds... started discussing life's problems with each other... one day he called me urgently online... when i went he asked em if i would marry him... he didn't confess his love for me or any thing but said tht he doesn't want to loose me... that made me say yes (though aftre 20 days)... won't want it to be differently as his truth made me fall for him... and we are getting married next yr :)
