I just recall the movie being about a college student who went to search for his professor. The man was already old however they enjoyed much quality time together...the title sounded something like "spending time with mitch"or something like that...the younger guy would go visit his ex professor everyday learning much from him

Tuesdays with Morrie written by Mitch Albom....great story...
for another good one try for one more day by same author.
It's a book I don't think they made a movie out of that one yet.

Sorry, I can't remember the title, but I DO remember Jack Lemmon played the lead-role. (together with the actor who played the role of the student, of course)
