Silent Hill is freaking scary also the evil dead series

No word on a 4th Fatal Frame. Let's see...The Silent Hill series is good. Same with the Suffering. There was also this one game...Oh yeah. Manhunt. It used the headset which I believe was optional to play with. The Resident Evil Series is also good. I don't know if the 4th one is as scary as the others, but it's called the best out of all the Resident Evil games.

It's a bit older, but I like Silent Hill 2. It was probably the best game of the series (with the first one being the most "groundbreaking" - and it was voted as the scariest game by some big gaming website, but I forget which).
I like it mostly because it plays with your mind. It doesn't rely on cheap thrill or scare tactics to get to you; instead, it relies on atmosphere, story, and mind games.
I hadn't actually played it, but I also heard very good things about the Fatal Frame series, as well as the Clocktower series. They're not easy to find in my area, which is why I haven't played them, but it looks as if each series has a slight Silent Hill-ish atmosphere. Regardless, they look like a trip.

I agree with cyrinos and kalasyra, the silent hill series is the scariest game on my list.
as for fatal frame, if Tecmo's stock keeps goin the way it is a fatal frame four could be very possible, unfortunatly no offical news has been posted :(.

well my freaky game would the suffering and kuon but theres no word of another fatal frame coming out but there is talk about a movie just go to the link below from wikipedia and read about it

frightening PS2 video games: Siren (like it!) Silent Hills (first is playstation yet will play on PS2) on my own at ineffective night, a playstation interest is okay, no longer the suitable, yet ok Resident Evil sequence (#4 is super, nonetheless i'm basing this off the GC one...Code Veronica seems achievable...i've got not performed it, yet my sister did and cherished it) i think of Silent Hill is above and previous the scariest i've got performed...verify you play at ineffective night and close to to the television demonstrate screen. good success finding titles!
