Petroleum based lubricants, such as petroleum jelly, will degrade a latex condom causing it to weaken and possibly break. Water based lubricants, such as KY Jelly, will not degrade the latex.
Hope this helps.

The rubber can't be 'diluted' by anything. However, petroleum products can react with the rubber and begin to weaken/dissolve it. Only used water based lubricant. All of these will say "Safe for condom use" on the package.

Lubricant does break down condoms. You have to use a different brand and/or another form of birth control, or stop using lubricant altogether. You're an unwanted pregnancy waiting to happen if you don't use something else.

Yes,,check out the different condoms on the market. Why do you need a lubricant? Make sure you wet enough when you have sex. May need to extend foreplay. Do not be in a hurry.

Only if you use oil based products like vasiline or anything with petroleium jelly in it. the olis break down the laytex and most of the time cause it to break.
You have to use water based lubricants if you want the condom to remain undamaged during sex like K-Y jelly and numerous other products of that nature.

Depends on what type of lubricant you are using. An oil based one can weaken the latex, but a water based one should be just fine. If you are using a water based lube just be a little more carful when doing the deed.

Only use water-based lubricants with latex condoms. If you use oils-based lubricants like vaseline, then it can degrade the condom, and it rips.

They're not supposed to... But if that's what happens with you, I guess you should go with personal experience rather than what the label on the lubricant claims.

If you've been on the pill (and taken it everyday at the same time), it's very unlikely you'll get pregnant. Less than one woman out of every hundred who uses the pill correctly will get pregnant each year. Catherine
