We are both in graduate school, and I have been very successful and believe women can accomplish anything. I have only known her for less than a year - and she just saud that to me today while watching The View. I was in shock and I didn't respond but I want to say something to her... but I am not sure what. We hang out all the time - I am in my thirties and she is in her late twenties.

Yeah, you can say something like "thanks for perpetuating this myth! You've just set the woman's movement back about a hundred years". You can ask her when was the last time she voted. Maybe she's the one inclined to be emotional. In fact with such a narrow outlook she's more than likely to be well satisfied having men as presidents. She probably believes that there is no woman alive who could possibly do a better job of running the country than a man. Tell her you will remember her for what she said when YOU become elected. So much for her higher education. All for naught.

i'm not confident if our u . s . is waiting for a lady president, yet i'm confident they are waiting for a qualified President. no matter if that is in truth a women human beings, then so be it. also, enable's take a second on the finished women human beings make judgements in accordance to thoughts argument. i imagine anybody makes judgements in accordance to thoughts. in spite of male or female. you do not imagine Bush replaced into extremely damn emotional at the same time as he declared that we'd end at not some thing to get those terrorists. adult males would coach their thoughts in yet in a unique way than women human beings, yet they make their judgements in accordance to thoughts, a useless ringer for we do.

Depends if you want to argue or not. I used to argue with people a lot but now I keep all my opinions to myself. No one knows what I think. Which is kind of cool it keeps them guessing in some ways.

You can discuss this if you want to, but it isn't necessary. Perhaps she said it on impulse and did not really mean it.
You can be of different opinion and still be friends. I would bring it up, but try not to let her answer upset you.

It is males who are too emotional- their thought is not based in logic. Males should NEVER be in a position of power!
