No they play the full movie unedited. Home Box Office is what HBO stands for they play it as it is.

HBO does not edit their PG-13 movies, their R movies or any other movies they show.

I don't think any movies on HBO are edited. It is a premium channel that runs theatrical versions (last I knew, anyway).
