So ive been making alot of "themed" cds lately. I wanna make one with just songs for those times when you just wanna be sad or need to cry. If any of you have a few that make you sad, list as many as you can. Country songs seem to work best, but anything is good really. Ok guys, thanks for helping me out.

For maudlin times when thinking about death or losing a loved one -
Brad Paisley & Dolly Parton - When I Get Where I'm Going
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtvxepkTMPI
Vince Gill - Go Rest High Up On That Mountain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxEfpRpJ0ms

For just plain broken hearted
Toni Braxton - Unbreak My Heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07U_uKGfv48
Diana Krall - If I Had You
Diana Krall (or various other artists) - Cry Me a River
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5v_FogUKlk
Jennifer Holliday - And I am Telling You I'm Not Going
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg32-O-AHyE
Vince Gill - I Never Knew Lonely
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjVjBRHHBpk
Vince Gill - When I Call Your Name
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJgXEMu7Erw

There's lots more but You Tube just went down and I'm getting depressed LOL. C&W and jazz/blues are both the best places to look for the really sad songs.
Happy Tears in Your Beer

Ok, gotta go with

Sherrie Austin: Streets of Heaven
Kathy Mattea: Mary Did You Know
Rent Soundtrack: I'll Cover You
LeAnn Rimes: Probably Wouldn't Feel This Way

Makes me cry every time, especially the Sherrie Austin one.

Man, since my boy cut me loose last week, even the McDonald's jingle makes me cry! ;)

A really good, sad song is by Laura Pausini called "One More Time". It was the theme song to the movie "Message In A Bottle".
