Despite a few awkward sentences, some grammar and spelling errors, and a couple sentence fragments... I liked it; it's an intriguing beginning . Except: "She had always been a friendly, woman, with a kind heart and always knew how to cheer someone up." There's something about that sentence that scream "cliche" . Well, a lot of it does since I've read many stories like this before. But still, you're a good writer. Keep writing! <3 ps . You might want to look into shortening your run-on sentences. Just a suggestion . ;D

There are a couple of people who's forgiveness I'd ask, so I suppose my last words would be, "Please tell xxxx I'm sorry".
