anyone know any truck driving schools that will train someone with a past felony,or any companys that will hire

altho i do recommend a driving school, you can always go to a small company, and check with them, if they are willing to train you (with a co-driver) and get your CDL that way...
just make sure you are honest about it when you fill out your application, an don't forgett, if you want hazmat, you might run into problem these days if you have certain convictions.... good luck

I don't know your specifics...but I think your best bet would be to find a local or regional carrier and find out if they will put you thru a truck school.
Many of the larger carriers go into Canada and/or are more strict with who they hire. If you could start out with a small company or an O/O who has a small fleet you might have better luck.
You might try contacting OOIDA (look below) and ask them.

DUI is a felony and there are tons of drivers with them so there is SOMEONE out there training them- Now have you called ALL the majors so far(JB HUNT-SCHNEIDER-SWIFT-WERNER) and they say no to any felony or just the one you commited? If it's drug or sex offender you are probably out of luck as these are high profile and lawyers eat that stuff up also look first at carriers that DO NOT go into CANADA as felons are NOT ALLOWED to drive trucks there so if the carrier you are courting is a big hauler either in or out of CANADA ,find a new one -good luck
