Rage is the genre of music that encompasses a state of violent anger like the meaning of the word. Rage is also the name of a heavy metal band from Germany, currently consisting of Peter 'Peavy' Wagner (Bass, Vocals), Victor Smolski (Guitar), and Mike Terrana (Drums). Rage is also an all-night Australian music video program that has been broadcast on ABC TV on Friday and Saturday nights. It first started out with that same music genre I earlier stated. Psycosis is about the same thing, but focusing on a state of mind in which thinking becomes irrational and/or disturbed. It refers primarily to delusions, hallucinations, and other severe thought disturbances. Techno is a style of fast heavy electronic dance music usually without vocals, and since it was created in Detroit, in 1988, its originators, who were strongly influenced by the aesthetics of Arthur C. Clarke and Fritz Lang, described it as music with a pulse that drives your inner soul. Exponents: Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Jeff Mills. Labels: Transmat, Underground Resistance. But you already know, that most of todays music is heavily influenced by techno including modern pop and hip hop. Trance is is a subgenre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s.Perhaps the most ambiguous genre in the realm of electronic dance music (EDM), trance could be described as a melodic, more-or-less freeform style of music derived from a combination of techno and house. Regardless of its precise origins, to many club-goers, party-throwers, and EDM adherents, trance is held as a significant development within the greater sphere of (post-)modern dance music.
