This is a well-documented and feared phenomenon which has the rare double (double) simultaneous reactions: namely, that when in which the motion of the posterior pre-covering clothing material is relieved or lifted (away from the force of gravity) there is an equal and parallel-congruous reaction heard in the voicebox of the previously preoccupied Trekkie. Coinciding, there is an equal and *perpendicular* reaction in which each buttock is cleaved (i.e. "lifted and separated").
