Male because women can be so bitchy, gossipy, and they really know how to stab you in the back

I would rather have a male supervisor---a heterosexual male: older, sterner, non-nonsense, and demanding! A man who doesn't want to play daddy, and a man who is not going to leer at my breasts or talk **** about me to the other guys when I walk out of the room.

I think there is nothing better than to have standards and rules and to know how to proceed at every turn. When your boss is hard-core business, there is no doubt what your obligations are to your organization. If you screw up, you did it to yourself.

It has been my experience that women bosses are hormonally unsuited for leadership positions (and I, myself have BEEN in managerial positions and have worked for women --including my best friend-- so I am not being a hater here--just a realist). Women make judgments based upon their emotions. Some are bitter, some are happy one minute and displeased the next (so you hide from them on those bad days---you have been there, I know you have!). Some like to stir drama, just to emerge saintly, and some want to be "best friends forever and ever" with every one.

I work for a woman now. She is one of the best bosses I have had, but even she has her moments. There are days that I can look at her and I know to NOT be in the same area because I can read the frustration on her face. There are days that she wants to be a friend and days that she is out to massacre her friend. She is a woman, and she wants it both ways: Like me and respect my authority! It is much easier when the choice is "Do your job or clean out your desk!"

Honestly, I've had both and I've had good and bad experiences with both male and female supervisors. Right now, my manager is female, and my direct supervisor is male and they're both fine to work with. Really, I think it's the managerial skills of the person, not the gender that's important.

I would rather have a female superior. Its true some say that lady bosses are hard on female employees but they feel for you when it matters the most. If you are going through a rough patch in your family life or at home, they understand. Oh and most importantly, the chances for sexual harassment are way way way low!!!

I would rather have a male supervisor .Girls are too territorial and bitc*y. I guess it depends on the woman but in my experience they are on a power trip.

In what?

I dunno...I like guys. They are easy to talk to and definately DON'T get as emotionally crazy as we girls tend to do...lol.

But then again...girls know what you are talking about...I mean, they can relate to what another girl is going through better than any male could....

....but then again....lol. Well, I'm still in high school so when we go on outings and stuff, I have a male sponser.

And he's awesome!!! So right now I'd have to say a male.

Um, hmm....my supervisor is female, and my boss is male, and I like them both the same. They're both cool. It doesn't really matter to me.
