I answer with that every time but every one keeps telling me that that doesn't count...I don't see why, they don't ask "what three things, not including a boat, would you..."
Although I think the question to ask here is, if you were stranded on a desert island would you really get to choose the items you bring with? ponder, ponder....

Well...I think the 3 things I would bring with me are 3 gallon jugs of water. Y'know...since it's a desert island and not a "deserted" island.

It's just such a hard thing to imagine. Yes, a boat would be nice, a sleeping bag, matches and lots of reading material.

(1) A "Mr. Fusion"
(2) A water distiller
(3) My TV with built in satellite TV reception
I can build a house, fish for food, and eventually make a refridgerator and fans, so I would live pretty comfortably with this configuration.

The question is supposed to stimulate creative responses...make people think about what they need for survival and such. That would be like telling the genie you want to wish for more wishes. It's just not honorable...
