And Jesus proved it by rising after dying and being buried. All who follow Him will have "everlasting life." He said it.

Yes. I believe in it. Here on earth, we are used to things making sense.
Something starts, it has a middle, and then we find out what happens in the end.
But if it all just ended here, it would not seem to make any sense at all. Then what would be the point? We would have started all kinds of things that we would never get to see the outcome of.
Why would we love each other, get to know and love our families, friends, and pets. Love is meant to be everlasting.
It can't be, unless we are, our lives. Or joined as part of a great consciousness, yet still us.

The bible clearly says there is life after death. John 3:16 and John 5:24-25 are just a couple that talk of everlasting life. If you want some more email me please. Go in Christ

I believe the part of us that is not "meet and bones" survive for a time but definitely we "disperse" our individuality or "consciousness" in the universe...
Some people call this be in heaven but do not imaging walking on the clouds or talk with God... is better than that and is a natural process... we are allowing the universe to keep going...

I don't have any spiritual evidence or beliefs to back this up, but I do. I think we work too damn hard in this life to just lie down and die. There has to be something more. In addition, stories of heaven/hell/ghosts/angels/paranormal are plentiful, and I don't think they are all bunk. I'm sure most are, but the idea had to come from somewhere. My suggestion? Believe what you want to believe. If you believe in Heaven/Hell, great. If you believe that you will be recreated, great. Worry about about it when you die, and enjoy your life now.

i do, i also believe the soul lives on, psychiatrist have hypnotized some people and found they can play an instrument, speak a foreign language with the accent, example,a true story of a 5 yr. old girl that kept insisting to her parents that she was married and had 2 children,it got so bad the parents took her to the doctor,he couldn't find any problems with the girl, and suggested that they take her to the address she said she lived, the house was in the next town. her parents did as the doctor said, the little girl walked up to the door and started to just walk in she was so happy to be home, but her parents stopped her and knocked on the door, a man answered and the 5yr. old girl called him by name and was sad because he didn't recognize her, she called out the children's name and the man was shocked he thought that they was playing a dirty trick on him. he said his wife was hit by a car right in front of their home and killed. but the little girl kept crying its me its me.

We are here to learn and grow--if we don't go through enough hell and trauma to learn something significant we have to go through the process again.
I sincerely hope that this is my last time around--If I would have to come back here I would rather just go for the black out--If you don't exist then there is no fear and no pain-what's there to be scared of?
The reason is tied in with the belief in the existence of God.

Yes.
Because I have memories of lives I have had in the past.... and I wasn't anyone special, no princes or Pharaohs or Queens or anything......an inventive mage, an esoteric student, a short-lived Samurai.....
