Another Ectopic?

I should be 3 weeks i though but i had an HCG level done yesterday and it was only 38.11, the doctor said i was only one week along according to my levels. I'm confused. I had an ectopic one year ago and i'm so scared it will be another. I think when your levels are low that is a good indication of miscarriage or ectopic, what do i do?

why didn't you ask your doctor? If it is ectopic, the sooner you get treated, the better the chance of saving your fallopian tube.

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do.

There's nothing you can do to save an ectopic pregnancy, and very little you can do to stave off a miscarriage. But if you aren't having any symptoms, and you're so early in your pregnancy, it will be hard for a doctor to diagnose anything.

Was the doctor concerned? Did he/she say anything about things you should look for? Did you express your concerns?

It's very possible that you're just off on your conception date: you might really only be one week pregnant, and your pregnancy might be fine.

Seems like all you can do is have repeat bloodwork and maybe a transvaginal ultrasound done so they can see whether or not your HCG levels are increasing properly and whether or not the pregnancy is developing.

Certainly, at the very least, call and speak to your doctor.

It's so hard to say that you're going to have another ectopic preg. or miscarriage, better visit your doctor OB-GYN and seek her help on having a healthy your pregnancy. Don't do heavy work that may lead to contraction of your ab. Take care.

ask the dr to retest tomorrow, it should be at the same time you did it yesterday, in a normal healthy preg your hcg will double every other day. good luck

You should stp worrying about it. Stress will cause you to miscarry.

JUST WATCH FOR ALL TE SIGNS OF A ETOPIC PG AND IF YOU HAVE ANY PLEASE GET TO THE ER OR YOU DR AND GET CHECKED OUT
