deal with this person? The person never actually apologizes, but says things to try to make up for his/her behavior at some point in the future. Or sometimes, they just go on as if nothing has happened, not acknowledging their hurtful behavior.

yeah, tell me bout it...it's kinda sickenin isn't it?.....it's my dad who nags and hits me for no reason and when he realise how harsh he was towards me, he just dont bother apologizing......the worst part he call me in names tat's so hurting...wat can i do than accepting the fact tat he born with tat kinda attitude.... im very used it now, and learn to ignore to all his stupid attitude, after all he's my dad!!!!

My Mom. I've just learned to accept that it's her way. She just apologizes differently than most people, just as you've stated.

it is very frustrating
but it is someone very close to me
and i can not stay angry even tho it hurts my feelings
