I know of something that you can do on the computer to make money, doesn't require any fees either upfront or at any time, and you don't even have to leave the house. Your only investment is time, and only a little bit of it a week!
And no, it's not CashCrate, Treasure Trooper, any PayPal chain mail schemes, or any survey nonsense. It's global, too! And no spam or viruses will fill your mailbox!

You do not need money to start up a business. If you have an idea in mind put up some cheap adverts in shop windows etc. Have some very cheap leaflets printed outlining what you do and give a contact phone number but not a mobile. You will get some interest. When you get your first order or contract put half of the profit towards stationery or equipment. Move on from there in easy steps and build up. Do not open a business account with a bank. It is free for the first year but from then on it will cost a great deal. Do NOT take a business Loan as the interest is crippling. Save from your income each month sufficient towards your eventual tax bill.
I did all this and earned £200 in my first month, £400 in the second month and £1000 in the 4th month. My average earnings over 12 years was £3000 a month. I always had the money ready for the tax bill and did not employ an accountant though if you become VAT registered then you may need to.A vital ingredient is the will to work and the will to work hard.

You can get (some free) help and advice from places like business link, and if youre looking for reliable business than franchising may be your best route. Not sure you will get anywhere with the concept of "doing it free" im afraid, tho many people have stared small business on limited funding. Good Luck
