You definitely need to contact your physician, or even go to the hospital and be checked out by the OB department. It's very possible your membranes ruptured, even at 37 weeks. If you are leaking fluid, you could develop an infection, or even cause problems for the baby. Good luck!

your water could have broken, but I personally think it's more likely that you are slowly discharging your mucous plug, and it is the mucous that helps soften and ripen your cervix.

i was 37 weeks when i started noticing an increase in discharge.

the contraction (the hard belly) that you are feeling is probably a braxton hicks contraction, which is also prepping your uterus for delivery.

Dont bother calling your OB..head straight up to the Labor & Delivery floor at your hospital the only way to know is to have them check you out. For the saftey of yourself & the baby...GO!

has the dr checked the amiotic fluid amt?? If so and he is not worried i wouldn't worry. As for the leaking it maybe incontinece due to little space and pressure on your bladder. and the contactions can be braxton hicks unless they are in a regular pattern.

I feel you just need to go to the hospital. I was 36 weeks when my water broke. It's fine to have the baby now. If you wait and it is your water that is broke it could lead to infection.

When you are pregnant you tend to sweat more in unusual places. I have had the same problem with all 3 pregnancies. If you are really worried you can have them check you at labor and delivery.

you should call your Dr. sometimes the water leeks slowly instead of having lots of fluid coming at once.

sweat or urine.

If you have wetness and are not sure weather it is urine or amniotic fluid--clean yourself up get all dry. If your water is leaking you'll soon be wet again (a matter of minutes)

Its not unusual to have urinary incontinence during pregnancy.
