I've played a lot of MMorpg and nothing is like MxO, if your looking for a free one, Guild wars is out there, otherwise most of the online games have a monthly charge, Final Fantasy XI online is a good one, Everquest, World of Warcraft, Star wars Galaxies, City of Heroes/Villains... all these have a monthly charge but most of them you can get a free month's trial just to see what they are like and then cancel if you dont like them ^^

None of the free mmorpgs really come close. Runescape is the most popular free mmo, but like I said... it doesn't really come close...
