What you see on TV is not what you learn in class. You learn social dancing in lessons so you can look elegant and graceful on the dance floor. Generally, you'll learn 4-6 different dances so you can dance to a variety of songs and beats, modern and old standards too.
My classes have about 30-40 people, couples, singles, old, young, large, small, all races, all sizes.
