I am three months pregnant. I feel better in general when I can get some sort of exercise but I am not sure what is the best way to go about that considering I am pregnant. I am not about to go lift some weights but I do want to do something like a video. My doctor said it was ok to exercise pretty much as long as I don't get carried away and do high impact stuff.

I took prenatal yoga and I loved it. I loved it so much I even made an effort and went on my 38th week. I took it through Kaiser where my health ins was. This was a really good experience. They have few seccions and you get to meet and connect with people who are on the same boat as you:) I would suggest calling your hospital and see if they have something like that. Most hospitals do.

Good luck

Traget & Ebay have the best selection of pregnancy workout dvds . Personally I like the pregnancy arobics tapes, I am not a yoga or pilates type, I like to move around more. However it is completly up to you choose what you like there is even salsa pregnancy workout tapes. Anything that says pregnancy should be safe.
