Because we're catty ( not a pun on words either ), looking for approval and validation in any way possible. Who has the best hair... can I get the same style,.. Look what Jennifer Aniston did for the hair business when Friends still aired. J-Lo and her booty, ohh can I have that too. Some women just won't be happy until they belittle others to make themselves feel better... not saying that all are like that, I am speaking as a female. Most of my friends are men, I get along better with them in all frankness and I grew up with 4 older brothers. As far as being silent, I don't think all are like that, some are more outspoken than others *hint, my mouth LOL*.

That is the million dollar question, Sister. I wish I knew. I have one friend who genuinely doesn't act that way w/ me. I just focus on being myself everyday and not trying to compete w/ others ideas of what is right. I'm not competitive w/ other women. I've always had better friendships w/ men. Purely, Blissfully platonic.
Man, I wish I knew the answer to that question. Can we as women just cut the crap and stick together?
