I believe he is facing charges because of what he said in the media - particularly the ABC. Apparently the charges he was let go on were commented upon and then they got more evidence from it.
I guess we could just leave him alone. It would save the tax payers a lot of money in court stuff. Then again if he is guilty then we haven't wasted our money. I also think the laws need to be sorted out some more.

Because of comments he made during media interviews.
I really couldn't care less about old mate Jihad Jack to be honest. If you want to play with the big boys then you have to be prepared for the consequences.
At the very best he's an unpatriotic idiot
