im 16 and i get about a good 8 hrs of sleep per night but im always tired i end up taking naps during the day sometime is there anything i can do so im not so tired?

hahahahah im the same way...

what i do is i try to go to the gym for 3 hours and the i have a reason to be tired and have a really nice body too...try it...or go to the mall shopping both really worksss

Hi,
I think nothing is wrong woth u only thing is u feel that u r tired. If u can sleep 8hrs a day then its fine ur body will be active now u need to make ur mind active. Any work u do try to do it with interest and try to involve in things which grabs ur interest. Any thing which is interesting for u will not make u tired.
U have a feeling that what ever u do u get tired,thats wrong. anyway dont take this as a big problem just be cool and go on with ur work. once u r into ur work then u will never face such problems.
if u feel drowsy then go and have some tea,coffee or fruit juice and chat with friends for a while so that u will come out of ur sleepy mood and then u can continue with ur work..
One more main thing is try to come out of stress and strain.
To be active go for exercise or YOGA specifically meditation. This will help u a lot..

maybe you're anemic i don't know how to spell it but it has something to do wih not getting enough iron in your body my mom has it. Maybe you should go to the doctor. But then again teenagers have a different sort of clock in their head so like we need more than the 8 hours of sleep.

im the same way the best thing to do when you get tired is to think of something happy that you love and usually you'll stop thinking of being tired and it could be being caused by stress

i have the same problem, babe. i drink cofee in the mornings to wake me up, but that doesnt work for alot of people. I heard that doing yoga is a good way to stay awake, but i think it would put me to sleep. id stick to lots of hersheys and energy drinks, but if you want to do it the healthy way, energy bars are cool too.

Try taking a multi-vitamin.. I constantly am working and so i don't eat very well so i started to take something for it and now i am always energized and feel really good
