Its hormonal, so you'll just have to ride it out. You can help it heal faster by not picking at it and keeping it clean. Stay away from scrubs. Salycilic acid spot treatments work good, try to use them only at night. Cosmedix has a serum called "clarity", and it dries my blemishes out overnight. Alternatively, you can use an at home glycolic acid mini peel, and you'll heal much faster. Glycolic acid is glycolic acid. Dupont supplies most of it and they give the same GA to everyone. Some is buffered, some is not. The percentages may vary, but you want to stick around 30% glycolic acid at home.
Good Luck.

Toothpaste is your friend for this! Leave it on for a while so probably want to do this at night. Lemon (real) juice will help to brighten your skin while drying out the acne. Use it after you wash your face in the morning. Then get a light lotion or some aloe vera and use it to moisturize your skin after the juice. You'll look better than you could dream.

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.
In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

These are all great ideas thta they gave you, so you can choose all you want, but make sure that your drinking tons of water. You'll be healing from the inside/out. Quick remedies should be tried before a big day. What if it backfires and your face is a giant ball of flaming red meat! Don't do anything drastic. Glycerine soap is a gentle cleanser. But don't forget the water. Drink, drink, drink!

If Oxy 10 hasn't done the trick, try tea tree oil, salycilic acid (active ingredient in Clean and Clear gel) or toothpaste. Another thing I have seen work miraculously fast is clotrimazole, an anti-fungal cream. Honest!

I use a dead sea mud mask treatment whenever I have a spot to clear up. It makes my breakout stop quickly and clear in half the time. Not sure if it works for everyone though.

supposedly a dab of honey cleans out the pores of bacteria, lemons work as an astringent. I know there'a a quick clear in the stores but I don't remember what it's called and I've never bought it to say how well it works, packaging says it works overnight (which is part of the name if I remember correctly
