i know it makes me mad. in the U.S.people should be able to share the word of God, by saying 2 simple words like Merry Christmas

The reason they are told to not say Merry Christmas is because they might say it to someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas, and *they* might get offended. I know it's stupid but people need to understand that not everyone celebrates the same holidays. "Happy Holidays" is what most companies are told to say, so it's more of a general greeting. No reason to stop going to a place because they can't say certain things, if it annoys you so much why not complain to the corporate offices that decided this, not the stores.

I stopped going to Best Buy, Wal-Mart and any place who is offending a large amount of the population by not saying Merry Christmas. They don't have to say it, and I will spend my money where people are more concerned about my happiness!

Me.

The way I see it is, if they aren't allowed to wish us a Merry Christmas, then why should we buy Christmas presents from them to give to others??

Who cares? Everyone has to be so p.c. today so just get used to it. Why would it upset you that much that you wouldn't shop there? It's not like they're saying some offensive remark, they're just not saying anything at all.
